Cameron Sesto
Cameron is an artist and retired Montessori art teacher currently facilitating her meditation and visual expression workshops in her studio and at other venues on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
She lives near the ocean with her artist husband Carl Sesto, and has been involved in the fine arts all her adult life, teaching art to children, and meditation with visual expression to adults.
She holds a Photography degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and enjoys working in a variety of media that include photography, oil painting, writing and design. Her paintings and digital collages have all originated from charcoal drawings drawn in her meditation and visual expression workshop, Drawing into Creative Wholeness, which she began in 1986.
Ezra Sesto
It all started when…
she was a little girl. She knew that she was destined to be an artist. Growing up in a creative family (both her parents are artists), photography in particular came naturally to her. She feels comfortable behind the lens of a camera and is constantly finding subjects to photograph. She’s drawn to the dichotomy between ancient and modern and the exquisite decay that results. Being creative is a path towards meditation and peace leading her to her authentic self.
Ezra is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and lives in New Jersey with her three children.
Carl Sesto
Carl Sesto is a photographer who was educated at Rochester Institute of Technology (BFA), and the Visual Studies Workshop (MFA). He studied with Nathan Lyons while an apprentice at the Eastman House Museum, and Minor White in Arlington, MA. In 1973 he established Pentacle Press, which specialized in printing fine quality books and posters for photographers and publishers. Among the many books produced by Pentacle Press were Real Dreams, Duane Michaels, 1976; Places, Aaron Siskind, Light Gallery/Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1976; Dorchester Days, Eugene Richards, 1978; Paper Negative, Danny Lyon, 1980; and Merci Gonaives, Danny Lyon, 1988.
His photographs, prints, and books are included in the permanent collections of the George Eastman House; the Fogg Art Museum; Harvard University; the Museum of Modern Art; and the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris.
In 2010 he retired from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where he taught full time for 20 years.
