Photographer Jim Fenton’s Work Takes Wing at Sweethaven Gallery

Sweethaven Gallery is very proud to feature the photographs of Haverhill-based photographer Jim Fenton in a new exhibit which runs from August 15 through September 13, 2015. The public is invited to see the work at 25L Inn Street in Newburyport during regular gallery hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“What I attempt to bring to viewers is the essence of my subjects and the emotions that I experience from allowing myself to feel their energy,” explained Mr. Fenton.
Trained in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology, Fenton has been a nature photographer for the past 6 years. His images have appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and websites. He is self-taught, with his talent springing from a love of nature in his teens and early twenties.
Mr. Fenton will be in the gallery Saturday and Sunday to answer any questions you may have.
The opening reception is Saturday, August 15th, 10am – 5pm.
Light refreshments will be served.
