Born in Rio to a French mother and a Portuguese Father, Vincent Lemonnier Ferro moved with his family to Paris at the age of 11 and lived in some of the prettiest areas of Paris for 25 years. His fascination for Photography started around that age with a strong focus on Paris “street photography”, quickly influenced by Cartier-Bresson, Kertesz and Brassaï.

In 1997 he started a 2 year quest to capture what he loved about Paris. This collection of images are part of that quest.

Canson Rives paper, an exceptionally beautiful matte paper, with a delightful cotton texture, was used for this body of work and is a 100% cotton-based paper, manufactured following a traditional mould-base process that Canson has been using for over 500 years. This paper is museum-grade, acid-free, and does not contain any optical brighteners.

Framed images are available upon request. They are imported from Italy and were prepared by Connor Summers Gallery in Newburyport using archival, acid-free matting and mounting materials. The glass is Tru-Vue Museum Glass offering 99% UV Blocking Protection and less than 1% Light Reflection, thus providing amazing clarity.
